Our freeze-dried bison trachea splits come from family owned bison ranches throughout the American West. Freeze-dried tracheas are a softer chew that are perfect for teething puppies or senior dogs whose teeth may be a little more sensitive. The splits are perfect for smaller dogs who may have a harder time getting their mouth around a full trachea. They're also rich in chondroitin and glucosamine so you're fortifying your pups hips and joints while they clean their teeth and stimulate their mind.

These may be tied with or have a slight edge on the snout. The nutritional benefits from them are excellent. My two Italian greyhounds were not at all interested in beef tracheas in the past, the first purchase was a risk for us and holy smokes did it pay off. I could purchase hundreds of dollars of these and not feel like a penny was wasted.
They are consumed faster than the snout or scapula, but the dogs just go absolutely nuts for them. I tend to cut them into very small pieces and it takes the dogs a few minutes to go through those pieces. I'd estimate that I cut them into 1/2" x 2-3" rectangles and they last a few minutes. These are a staple in the household and I get nervous every time I see them out of stock when browsing the site.

I've purchased trachea dog treats from other vendors that have an overpowering and disgusting odor, which my dog doesn't mind, but I hate. The Wild Nosh tracheas did NOT have a strong smell at all, yet my dog loved them, so I recommend them.
