Our freeze-dried smelt are wild caught in Lake Erie. Rainbow Smelt are not native to the Great Lakes, and are considered a "Best Choice" sustainable sea food by SeaFood Watch because they may compete with native species. Extremely rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, and low in mercury, smelt are a great treat for both dogs and cats! Smelt are sold by the ounce, you will receive more than a dozen smelt per ounce.

Phillip Yowell Our dog is very happy with the products we've gotten from Wild Nosh. We only wish we could've gotten the bison trachea in small portion as it's hard for her to really enjoy those. But all the other products we've gotten for have been great and she's enjoyed them thoroughly. We will be purchasing Wild Nosh.
